    go! BuggedOut in Dreamland

    Chair ‘o’ swing

Even though its quite hard to tell sometimes, we’ve made it through the dark mornings and into summer, so I trust you’ve got some plans in place to enjoy it while we can. One event that should definitely be on your list is Bugged Out’s new one day festival in an amusement park by the seaside! Taking place in Margate’s Dreamland amusement park on the last Saturday of September, BuggedOut in Dreamland is the perfect way to round off the summer, boasting a strong line up of house and techno DJ’s such as Groove Armada, Ben UFO, Artwork and Skream to name a few. The guys at Bugged Out have really delivered here with a line up full of seriously skilled selectors, but the fun definitely doesn’t stop there. A ticket to the festival includes unlimited fairground rides which range from 70’s themed Dodgems to the 35m Big wheel for those taking things easy, or for those daring enough there’s the Big Wheel’s big brother; The Enterprise. This is not one to visit after the food stall. It’ll spin you round and round at every angle from horizontal to vertical while physics holds you in place.

If you find yourself worn out from moving to the high quality beats on offer, or you’re feeling a bit wobbly after a ride on the 80’s classic Rotor, on which you’ll find yourself stuck to a wall while being spun around quicker and quicker as the floor disappears beneath you, it might be time to relax and enjoy the awesome food and drink selection that Dreamland brings. Whatever your tastes, Dreamland has you covered with spots such as the classic roller diner where you can grab a burger or hot dog and wash it down with a smooth shake. After something more traditional? Then Chip ’n’ Fin is the Plaice to be, serving up fresh fish and chips wrapped in newspaper for that authentic seaside nostalgia. For those wanting to spice things up Yama’s Thai Eatery is providing the classic Thai dishes while Vinyl Head Churros are bringing the best in Mexican desserts. And if you’re feeling like you’ve overdone it on the ice creams head over to My Little Green Box where you can pick up some healthy vegan, veggie or gluten free bites to help you feel a little less pigged out!

This is definitely one of the coolest and most unique festivals around this summer but the tickets are fairly limited with only 3500 available! The first release has already sold out so don’t sleep, click here to bag yourself a ticket while you still can.
